hello, my name is rachel

I'm a photographer from beautiful Monterey, serving all of California.

Ever since I could pick up a crayon, I always knew that I wanted to be an artist. When I was a teenager, I fell in love with photography, and tried to teach myself everything I could about it. I've now been taking photos professionally for ten years, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography from Biola University.

I’ve got a lot of passions—basically anything where I can express myself creatively, like knitting, cooking/baking, drawing, watercolor, sewing…the list goes on. Beyond that, I love coffee shops, traveling, my dog, and my husband (who regularly helps me on photoshoots).

I'm so fascinated by people and their stories. My goal is to always capture genuine moments and stories, nothing stiff or fake. Let's meet up! I'd love to tell your story!
